WhatsApp Without Phone Number

Consider the possibility of being able to use WhatsApp without a phone number or SIM card. In this post, you’ll learn two tried-and-true techniques for accessing this overall messaging system on your Android tablet, iPad, PC, or even a mobile phone without a SIM card.

Use WhatsApp Without Phone Number or SIM

As previously stated, we tried two methods of using WhatsApp without a phone number or SIM card, and you can try both and use the one that is most comfortable for you.

Before we proceed with either of the two approaches, you must first complete the following conditions using WhatsApp without a phone number and SIM card.

1. If you haven’t already, download WhatsApp to your tablet, phone, or computer.

2. If you’ve already installed WhatsApp on your smartphone, check to see if you’ve verified it yet.

3. If you have already verified WhatsApp, you can erase your current number by uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

Method 1: Use TextNow to Verify WhatsApp

The first way entails downloading the TextNow messaging program to your phone. This messaging software provides you with a one-of-a-kind phone number that you may enter into WhatsApp to verify your account.

1. Download TextNow to your device

Download the TextNow app from the Google Play Store, iTunes App Store, or Windows Phone Store to your device. If you want to use WhatsApp on your PC, launch your Android emulator and search for TextNow.

2. Open the TextNow app & Note down Your Number

Open the TextNow app after it has been downloaded to your smartphone and complete the setup process. Once the app is installed, make a note of your phone number.

If TextNow does not show you your number or if you forgot to write it down, you can discover it by following the steps below.

Android: Once the app is open, click on the three-line icon in the top left corner of your Android device, and you should see your phone number.

iPhone: Tap the three-line icon in the top left corner of your iPhone, iPod, or iPad. When you click on the three-line icon, you should see your phone number.

Once the app is launched, go to the People page, and you should see your phone number.

3. Open up WhatsApp and Verify Number

Once you’ve noted down your TextNow number, open up WhatsApp on your phone, tablet, or PC & follow the steps below.

Enter your TextNow Number into WhatsApp

Once you’ve agreed to WhatsApp’s terms and conditions, you’ll be asked to provide your phone number. When prompted to input your phone number, choose your country and the TextNow number.

Wait for SMS Verification to Fail

Wait for SMS verification to fail for 5 minutes. You will be required to call your phone if SMS verification fails. To receive an automatic call from WhatsApp, click the Call Me option.

Get your WhatsApp Verification Number

When you open the TextNow app on your device, you should receive a call from WhatsApp. When you answer the phone, an automated message from WhatsApp will repeat your verification code many times. Make a note of your verification number.

Enter Verification Code in WhatsApp

Afterward, enter the verification code that you received from the automated call into WhatsApp.

Finish Setup

After entering your verification code, finish the setup process in WhatsApp. You’ve now opened a WhatsApp account without a phone number.

If this strategy does not work for you, you can try another program called textPlus or the second method below.

Method 2: Use Existing Landline to Verify WhatsApp

The second step will be to validate WhatsApp using your existing home phone/landline number. To use WhatsApp without a mobile phone number or SIM card, follow the steps below.

Open WhatsApp on your phone, tablet, or PC

Open up the WhatsApp app on your mobile, tablet, or PC.

Enter Your Home Phone/Landline number

When prompted to enter your number, select your country, then enter your home phone/landline number.

Wait for Verification by SMS to Fail

After around 5 minutes, SMS verification will fail, and you will be given a choice to Call Me. To receive a call through WhatsApp, select the Call Me option and enter your home phone/landline number.

Enter the Verification Code

WhatsApp will now make an automatic call to your landline number. An automated voice will repeatedly repeat your six-digit verification code. Please make a note of this verification code and enter it into WhatsApp.

Complete the Setup Process

Once you’ve verified WhatsApp on your device, finish the setup process, and you’ll be able to communicate to your pals on WhatsApp without needing your mobile phone number or SIM card.
